Art objects of thought that Destroyed Nazi Found in BerlinTuesday,

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BERLIN - Nearly a dozen works of art that the Nazis regarded as a form of "slippage" and is believed to have been lost or destroyed, was found. Now, these works of art were being prepared for immediate display.
Statues of terracotta and bronze was discovered during the construction of a new subway in the city. Construction workers found the art in the location of the office building that burned down in the summer of 1944, Museum Director, Matthias Wemhoff, told reporters Monday. The fire started from the roof, and set fire to the building from top to bottom.
"Each floor fell into the front and everything that can not be burned collected at the bottom of the basement, including the statues," he said. Judging from the placement and damage the work, they have been stored neatly before the fire, add Wemhoff.
